  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
  • Class Times: Flexible – sessions available anytime from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (last class start at 3:00 PM). We recommend booking your preferred time slot in advance.
  • Price (Class Only): IDR 550,000 per person.

  • Approximately 5 grams of raw silver (sufficient for one standard piece like a ring or pendant – additional silver available for purchase if you wish to create a larger or additional piece).
  • Use of all traditional tools and equipment.

  • Welcome & Introduction: Arrive at our traditional workshop in Taro Village and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink. Meet your artisan instructors who will give you an overview of Balinese silver smithing traditions and show you examples of what you can create.
  • Design Your Piece: Discuss your ideas with the artisans. Whether you have a specific design in mind or need inspiration, they will help you sketch out a plan for your ring, pendant, earrings, or other small item.
  • Preparing the Silver: Learn how to melt, flatten, and shape your allocated 5 grams of silver using traditional tools and techniques like hammering and rolling.
  • Cutting & Shaping: Carefully cut out your design. Your instructor will guide you in using fine saws and files to achieve the desired shape and details.
