An invigorating exploration of Taro’s lush surroundings. You’ll venture along hidden jungle trails, discovering sacred natural springs and learning about local flora. The journey leads to the stunning Semararatih bamboo forest and its hidden waterfall, where you may opt for a traditional holy water blessing. You’ll also visit a local home to witness the intricate process of traditional silver making, a craft passed down through generations. Your morning adventure concludes with a delicious and authentic Indonesian lunch at a charming local spot. - The Evening Firefly Magic Trek (4 PM – 8 PM) continues with:
A deeper dive into Taro’s spiritual heart as the day softens. You’ll visit the ancient and revered Pura Agung Gunung Raung temple, absorbing its serene atmosphere. A highlight is learning to make a Canang Sari (Balinese offering), gaining insight into this beautiful daily ritual. As dusk approaches, you’ll walk through the village and rice fields, perhaps passing by an elephant sanctuary, before Gede leads you to a special location. Here, as darkness falls (around 7 PM), you’ll witness the truly enchanting spectacle of thousands of fireflies illuminating the night. Your magical evening finishes with a light Balinese dinner/refreshments, sharing reflections on an unforgettable experience.
